Dr. Short received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 and joined Abshier-Meuth Animal Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian.
Dr. Short enjoys spending time with her husband, Joey, and their two children, Jeremy and Jordyn. Her home is full of pets, including Roxie (Black Lab), Scooby (German Shorthaired Pointer Doodle mix), Jessie (German Shorthaired Pointer), Marshmallow (Maltese/Yorkshire mix), and two cats, Walker and Oliver.
In her free time, she enjoys being with her family and caring for her many pets. She is especially passionate about educating pet owners, helping them understand their pet’s health and available treatment options, and finds fulfillment in improving patient outcomes and providing compassionate care through all stages of life.
